These are recommendations based upon our extensive testing. Every situation is unique and requires the grower to monitor plant health and adapt the recipe according to crop response. Best Practices for Athena Nutrients
- Shake well before use - Our products run through a 1 micron filter before bottling so any micro-particles you may see won't clog dosing systems or emitters.
- Use clean measuring instruments - do not put anything into the bottle to avoid contamination.
- To increase target EC - Always use equal parts A & B to maintain mineral balance.
- DO NOT combine products in undiluted form - This renders the formulas useless and must be disposed of.
- Store closed in original packaging - Keep at a temperature between 45° F and 85° F. Exposure to the environment will reduce shelf-life.
- Adjust recipe as needed - Every cultivar and growing environment is unique. Adjust accordingly to maintain plant health and vigor. If you get stuck, please contact us for help.
Rockwool
This Feeding Schedule is ideal when using rockwool media. Most cultivars do well with a lower EC when minerals are properly balanced. If you have heavy feeders it’s okay to increase A/B dosage slightly (always in equal amounts).
Coco Coir
Fully inert coco tends to lock up initial doses of minerals, leaving the plants potentially deficient in early stages. A good practice is to charge the media before transplant with a higher dosage—week four Grow or Bloom is usually a good target. Experienced growers often find plants can take higher dosages in coco (up to 3.0 EC), depending on irrigation frequency.
Recirculating/DWC
In a recirculating reservoir, different minerals are absorbed faster than others, leaving a solution imbalanced over time. If you top off water levels, add back all fertilizers based on the amount of water added. We recommend weekly reservoir changes to reestablish mineral balance. Use Cleanse every day at 2-5ml per gallon.
Soil/Soilless
If the soil is already charged with fertilizer or amendments, start a lower dosage. Monitor runoff until you see nominal EC levels. This Feed Schedule works well in most soil conditions. If your media has a lot of perlite (+30%), increase EC. Perlite reduces CEC so media doesn’t hold as many minerals.

Athena Balance
Silicon Supplement for Ph Balance
Athena Balance provides essential nutrients for crops in any stage of growth. It is also effective for adjusting pH up without harsh chemicals. Recommended for use with batch tank mixing and Dosatron. Do not use with Netaflex (or other electronic dosers).
Best Practices
- Agitate before mixing and dosing to ensure homogeneous solution.
- Compatible with other fertilizers and crop protection products.
- Add first to reverse osmosis (RO) water to help buffer for better solution stability.
Athena Cleanse
For Clean Roots - Flushing Agent
Athena Cleanse is made from the ideal (and safe) root zone optimizing agents--Hypochlorous acid. This safe and mild acid is derived from salt and a proprietary electrochemical treatment process. The result is a unique, plant-safe chemical with powerful oxidative properties to keep your root zone clean and free of unwanted organisms and buildup. These special properties improve both mineral and oxygen availability in the growing media.

Athena Pro Core
Soluble Base Fertilizer
Athena Pro Core provides strong baseline nutrition across all stages of plant growth. Nitrogen to assemble chlorophyll and amino acids. Calcium to build structure. Essential microelements to catalyze photosynthesis, enzyme production and a multitude of important plant processes.
Ideal for mixing stock tanks and compatible with all dosing systems. This large-grind mix is 100% soluble and will not clog irrigation systems or leave sediment in reservoirs.
Application Instructions
May be mixed directly into feed water or mixed in stock tanks for fertigation systems. For every 0.6 grams of Pro Core, use 1 gram of Pro Grow or Pro Bloom to reach desired EC level. Measure desired amount by weight not by volume. Do not combine with other fertilizers in dry form or concentrate solution. Recommended for hydroponic use only.

Athena IPM is a complete pest management formula that kills many soft-bodied insects and mildew on contact. When used as directed Athena Ag IPM penetrates plant crevices and leaf surfaces where unwanted biotic infections seek to colonize.
Athena IPM is an effective treatment against many soft-bodied insects. Will treat adults, nymphs, larvae and eggs. Kills on contact. Also effective in treating common fungal infections.

In the rare event that you experience a quality issue, please contact us right away. Images or video clearly showing the problem must be provided within a week of delivery, along with a detailed description and a photograph of your full packing slip. Refunds or credits are not guaranteed and are reviewed on a case by case basis. Hydro Worlds conducts strict quality control processes where orders are checked and verified before being processed and packed. If an issue is determined, we will do our best to satisfactorily resolve the matter at hand.
Stolen or lost packages
We are not responsible for stolen or lost packages, including those with a "Signature Release" on file. Please file a claim with the courier responsible for delivering your package.
Please ensure that your delivery address is correct, as we are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses or unclaimed. It is not possible to re-route a package once it has been shipped. If your package is returned due to an incorrect address, we can arrange a redelivery.
